Dr. Dina Hansen grew up locally in West Palm Beach, Florida. She graduated from Barry University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. While attending Barry, Dr. Hansen became involved in a number of extra-curricular activities, most notably serving on the Florida Podiatric Medical Student Association in addition to participating in numerous podiatric organizations, community outreach clinics, and research projects.

 

Dr. Hansen received her surgical training in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Larkin Hospital in South Miami, Florida. As their Chief Podiatry Resident, she attended many conferences and was honored to present a podiatric case study on wound care with her director at the SAWC conference. Dr. Hansen is board qualified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Board Certified in the American Board of Podiatric Medicine with an additional Certification in Limb Salvage and Amputation Prevention, and Board Certified in Wound Care.

 

Dr. Hansen enjoys treating all aspects of the lower extremity and exhausts all conservative options before considering surgical intervention. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality podiatric services and takes the time to develop a relationship with each individual who enters her care. Dr. Hansen feels it is important to take the time to understand her patients in order to provide them with the ideal treatments for their individual lifestyles. When she is not in the office, Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with her family and furbabies.
