Dr. Liz Connolly is dual board-qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She specializes in the diagnosis of all conditions of the foot and ankle with extensive training in both non-surgical and surgical treatment. She has extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, foot and ankle deformity correction, total ankle joint replacements, and sports injuries. She has advanced training in the most modern techniques such as Arthroscopy for the foot and ankle, bunion and hammertoe correction, including minimally invasive surgery and Lapidus bunion surgery. She has extensive training in Pediatric surgery as well as clubfoot reconstructive surgery, pediatric trauma and other elective lower extremity surgeries for children. 

 

Dr. Elizabeth Connolly is a graduate of Northeastern University where she received her Bachelor of Science Biology, on the Pre-Med track. She did her internship In Capetown South Africa, assisting in reconstructive and trauma surgery as well a multitude of pediatric procedures. With this internship, the foundation for a fastidious career in foot and ankle surgery commenced.

 

Dr. Connolly received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Philadelphia, Pa. Following graduation, she completed her surgical residency at JFK Hospital, Atlantis Florida, where she received Resident of the Year award. 

She trained closely with many of the top foot and ankle and orthopedic surgeons in Palm beach, Martin, and Broward County. 

 

Dr. Connolly was published in international journals regarding 1st MPJ fusion revisions, the use of antibiotic spacers in septic ankle joints, and a novel minimally invasive surgical approach to turf toe.

 

When home with her family, her hobbies include yoga, interval training, soccer, deep sea diving and surfing.
